Good afternoon,
My former neighbor had his house for sale. Our two homes are relatively close so he put up a wooden barrier wall between our back yards that spanned 50ft of the 100ft property line. The wall also was only finished on their side so we have the unfinished side. While I am not happy with it, I could go ahead and finish my side entirely but this would then leave an unfinished side on the neighbor side. The house sold within a week of installing the wall. Do I have any options? Can I legally finish my side and not finish the neighbors side? I'm not looking to go to court over the fence, but I also do not want to be taken to court by finishing my end out.
Do I have options?
Thank you for any input. I would be grateful for any direction.
