I was wondering, if I have an inventio and wanted to make a protoype before applying for a patent, would that be advisable?
Is the prototypng company like agents or attorneys obliged to keep my invention confidential?

I don't know if it's adviseable for you in particular or not -- that would depend on all of the facts of your particular situation -- but its done all of the time.

Not unless you have some sort of agreement with them, such as a signed nondisclosure agreement.
