Our company is in the highly competitive internet and e-commerce solutions design and development industry.
Imagine our shock when we discovered that a local Virginia community college had started a new student-staffed Web Design and Development program (a for profit business, openly competing in the private sector) providing students with certifications and job experience.
The program provides paid internships and supports the students with the latest in software and hardware technologies.
Something does not seem right when an institution, that our tax dollars fund, goes into business as a direct competitor.
Is there a law against this?
