I was pulled over yesterday on my motorcycle and asked for my license and registration. I gave the officer my registration and license and waited 30 minutes while he issued me a ticket for driving without cycle endorsement. He told me I could ride my motorcycle home and that I needed to call the court about fines, etc.

My question is since this is considered misdemeanor should be I considering a lawyer.

This is my first offense of this nature, the only thing on my record is a ticket for 5mph over on the highway.

Similar problem

I have a similar situation but I have already completed my safety course and passed the test. My job made it difficult to go to the dmv and get the endorsement and eventually it slipped my mind. I have a court date for 3 weeks away.

My job made it difficult to go to the dmv ...

But obviously it didn't make it difficult to ride your motorcycle.
