What is the name of your state? Florida

I made an offer on a Condo in Ft. Lauderdale which was accepted. The mortgage was approved and Title Search completed. Prior to going to title the Condo Association pursuant to their rules stated that I had to be interviewed. I advised them that I resided in Honolulu and was disabled (Scoliosis, steel rods attached to my spine with five fused vertebrae). I offered to do the interview by video conferencing. They refused. I flew to Fort Lauderdale from Honolulu for a 10 minute interview. They subsequently advised my realtor that I had been refused indicating that they did not have to provide reason. It should be noted that they charged me a $100 application fee for a reference check which was completed without any problems. Do I have any recouse.

Is what true?

**A: the fact that they do not have to give you a reason for denial?
Read the condo docs Board Rules etc. and post the cite as to the approval procedure and denial etc. It has to be in writing.
Why do you think you were not approved?

**A: what are you talking about?

Don't mind me, just an inside joke. The condo docs only state the conditions for transferring ownership which include the application, applicaiton fee, reference checks and interview. No listing of reasons that a purchaser can be denied are indicated in the condo docs. The letter served upon me by the Attorney for the Condo did not articulate the reasons for denial. Just said that the Board chose to deny me.
