What is the name of your state? Florida
I understand that my private disability insurance and my social security disability payments are 100% exempt in Florida in a personal bankruptcy. If I buy an item with these funds and these are the only funds I recieve monthly, are these items such as computers, bicycles, TV's, and even a car also totally exempt because the funds used to purchase them are 100% totally exempt? Thanks so much for your answers.

Nope, the funds you bought them with are irrelevant !

FL has a $1000 exemption for personal property -- that's it - no more. If the total of all your personal property (at garage sale prices) is more than $1000, the Trustee's going to sieze it - or give you the chance to buy it back from him to keep it. Many FL filers have recently found themselves with a Trustee who has hired an appraiser to come to their homes and appraise their stuff !
