What is the name of your state? Florida
Before I ask my question, I'd like to explain why I'm asking and why it is important for me to know what I can do:

My husband's ex wife has made our life hell ever since my husband had his CS modified in 2001 and 2002 because his 2 oldest had turned 18 and married. His ex has verbally threatened us, and has had friends of hers stalking us, and in general scared us half to death. At one point, my husband filed for a restraining order and after his ex showed up in court, crying that she would lose her job as a police officer, he voluntarily dropped it after his ex signed an agreement to not harass us. (we discovered later that the agreement wasn't worth the paper it was written on) She continued to harass and stalk us though.

Moving hasn't been an option for us both financially and because my husband is required by the CS order to notify his ex and court of his address if he moves. Well, thank God, next month the last CS payment will be made and we will be free to move without telling her or the court where we live. For various reasons, we are still scared that she will try to harm us, which brings me to my question:

Is it possible for me to buy a house, and have it listed/deeded in my MIDDLE name and legal last name? In other words, instead of it reading Jane Ann Smith, it would read Ann Smith? I already have my car under my middle name and will be putting all utilities the same way. We just want to make sure that his ex can not find us to take revenge as she has promised.
Thank you in advance.
Gracie :)

**A: you can set up a trust, have the trust buy the property such that the trust is the owner of record.

Thank you. Where can I go to find out how to set up a trust, and do I have to have an attorney to set up a trust?

Yes to both questions.

Do not expect this to fool the ex.
