What is the name of your state? OK

Hello ALL ... I'm not sure if any of you remember my previous posts, but I will give a brief recap: Ex and son lived in VA, move to OK in 2005. I was in MD, fought in court to stop the move, lost and moved to OK in Oct 2006.

QUESTION: Now that i live less that a mile from my son, I would like to spend additional time with him. Current order is a long distance parenting plan from VA. Ex and I, surprisingly enough, have been getting along well in arranging visitation. I am grateful for this! However, I would like to have 50/50 parenting time. As of right now, I am basically getting standard for OK, which is every other weekend and one overnight during the week (Thursday). I would like one additional overnight during the week in order to make the time 50/50, ex does not agree. Would it be worth the cost/effort to take this to court/mediation, or whatever at this point? Or should I just be happy with what i'm getting. I would like to know now, as I know once we establish a "pattern" then that is what a judge would likely stick with. So if I need to go to court now would be the time, as i have a "change in circumstance" with the move?
PLEASE ADVISE!! Thanks!

I would think you being in the child's community now rather than out of state would certainly warrant a new parenting plan.....are you and ex getting along well enough to work out a plan together and submit a stipulated agreement?

We are getting along and so far things are going ok. However, my own question is: I would like to have my son two nights a week after school and every other weekend. She will only agree to one night after school and every other weekend. Is this a fight I should make or should I just let it go? I wasn't sure what a judge would give me and quite frankly don't want to spend thousands for a judge to say OK mrs. X you "once again" can have it your way!!
