Once again, I am asking a question about my husbands horrendous credit. LOL Anyway, he has a California tax lein listed on his credit report, which I asume is very damaging to his credit score. Am I right? Also, he believes that this debt was settled along time ago, by garnishment, but has nothing to prove it. (he keeps records of nothing!) My main question is, does anyone know how long a state tax lein can remain on your credit report, and just exactly how damaging it actually is? Thanks for any responce.
