What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FLORIDA
I am about to possibly marry this beautiful Argentina girl
that i met on vacation in miami beach. She has a concern though.
After we get married, she wants to visit her sick father in Argentina
but she said she looked up what it will take for her to get her papers
so that she can travel as she hasnt been able to travel since she got here 6 years ago. She said she looked up the law and she said it said her new husband must make over 25 thousand per year and pay taxes. Well, i told her i am on government disability/assistance and that i would bet we are EXEMPT from that requirement but i dont know so does anyone here know the answer if we would be EXEMPT from that requirement so that shell be able to travel?

Her ability to travel internationally does not have anything to do with your income. She will be able to travel once she gets a green card, if she gets one. In order for her to qualify for a green card, not only do you have to prove that your marriage is bona fide, but you have to show that you have a sufficient income ($18,212 for a household of 2) and if your income is insufficient, you will need to get a joint sponsor to sign the affidavit of support on her behalf.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or how I can be of further assistance to you in this matter.
