What is the name of your state? IL
How can I politely ask my HR dept what is taking so long for them to make a decsion in my case? It's been 6 wks now, I suspect they know my complaint is valid and they don't really know what to do with me ...:( I'm getting tired of watching People's Court and Judge Alex all day and want to get back to WORK;) !!!
thank you

It's a hard question to answer, Rachel. We don't know your HR people. How should we know what approach would work best? How are we to know what would be the best way to ask your question?

I don't appreciate the comments. I've done my best to help you as best I can. If I can't determine by osmosis what is the best way for you to ask your question of people I don't know, that's not my fault, nor is it my responsibility. You know these people; what do YOU think is the best way to ask them?

I don't care to answer any further questions if that's going to be the response when I can't perform magic.

I guess I asked for this..
yes, cbg, you have been a big help to me, and I have greatly appreciated all your good insight and advice. I wasn't directing my comments specifically to you, as I know there are several HR people who look at the threads (or so I thought).
Obviously you ( or anyone else on this website) don't know my HR people. But, I had some CRAZY idea that asking OTHER HR people how to effectively ask this question was logical
No one is asking anyone to do magic. If I knew the best way to ask the question, I would not have asked the experts in this forum.

For some reason, I now have even less faith in the whole HR-biz thing...
I'm sure I'll figure something out ;) and I'll refrain from asking for advice from now on..
take care cbg:)
