What is the name of your state? FL

I have a simple law/procedural question. If a person has an ongoing case before a particular judge, can the opposing counsel get another judge to act on a motion in the case. In other words, if one has a judge already assigned to a case will or can another judge sign orders in that case?

Contact the clerk of the court in question for their local rules.
