I live in the state of Ohio. My husband and I have been married 14 1/2yrs. He just retired from the military. I know that I get 35% of his retirement. My question is how does the court decide about spousal support? I don't know if even matters that he is having an affair(but he is). We have two children 10 & 13.

My response:

Each State, in including Ohio, has statutory guidelines and formulas for both Spousal and Child support. When you see your attorney, that attorney will undoubtedly have a computer software program that takes into account all of a person's factual and financial situation, and in conjunction with the statutory formulae, can figure these amounts for you.
