What is the name of your state? Florida

Also where the RO was issued. What I am curious to find out (and I've heard mixed opinions about this); is whether or not other states honor/recognize a RO that was issued in Florida and if so which. Are there provisions/ exceptions if I move to another state does it still apply in the new state of residence or only in the state of issue? Just curious any thoughts are appreciated. Thanx in advance!

Check your actual RO paperwork...

On mine on the very front page there is a paragraph that states:

"It is intended that this protection order meet the requirements of 18 U.S.C. 2265 and therefore intended that it be accorded full faith and credit by the court of another state or Indian tribe and enforced as if it were the order of the enforcing state or of the Indian tribe."

I interpret this to mean, that yes, it is enforceable in any state that you might visit or reside in.

If you are considering a particular county in a particular state, I would try to contact their Law Enforcement and ask them directly.
