What is the name of your state?Illinois Are the "Buy Your House in 5 Days" offers for real? Since my foreclosure will be in about 6-8 weeks I am looking to just sell (without even worrying about getting anything out of the deal). Since the 1st & 2nd mortgage will consume all of the equity...and at this point after fighting the Chpt 13 battle and losing...I just want to save as much of my credit as possible and start over. I just don't want to sell to one of these offers and find out it was some sort of a scam.

An offer on the purchase of real estate is real if the proposed buyer has the money.

This is an exceptionally general answer (and there are tons of ifs, ands or buts) to your question but it is accurate.

If someone wants to buy your land and does not have the money, then I would be suspicious.

Hi,

I am one of those, "We Buy Houses" guys and I work with many others who do the same. I'll tell you honestly, yes, companies like mine really can help you and rather quickly too. However, the other side of the coin is that not all Homebuyers are so ethical and can be more in it for themselves than the people they are helping. I work with a network of ethical and helpful homebuyers and would be glad to refer you to one where you live if you should feel so inclined. Best wishes.
