We have been filing for quiet title with a lawyer since November. The defendants, who have a 26 year old notice of interest and a 25 year old conveyed warranty deed have just answered the interrogatories, (after the judge signed a motion to compel, 2 days before court.) The court date is Tuesday for a settlement/pretrial schedule. Our lawyer had filed for a summary judgement, the defendants had not answered any of our requests for info until this week. Their responses to the inter. were way off base and untrue. My questions:

1. Will the judge make any decisions based on evidence or just schedule a trial if we have not settled?

2.Is this something I should attend to dispute the new claims entered by defen.?

I just rec. the response in the mail and have not been able to catch lawyer (phone tag).
He had previously said I did not need to attend.
Thanks
