I was just curious if I have a case in my argument. In March I was attending a Major League Soccer game in Carson, California and was arrested for vandalism for breaking a life-size cut out. Not only was I arrested, but I was also banned from the facility. I was just going to accept the fact that I was banned but I was then again ejected from another game. I then come to find out that another person who was banned from the same facility for fighting with one of the players. Thing is, he had his banishment lifted and he can now attend games while I can't. I just feel like its racist in nature because I'm Hispanic and the other guy is White, and the head of security is also White.

Typical response when a business or venue is a victim of such a crime

So, do you have any proof that the only reason the other guy's ban was lifted and yours wasn't was because you are Hispanic? Without that proof, you have a hard case to make. Now, if you have about ten thousand dollars (or more) sitting around, I am sure you can pay an attorney to look into the matter for you and raise a stink, but is it worth that kind of money to MAYBE get your banishment lifted?

One of the key differences I can see is that you committed a criminal offense and were apparently charged for the crime ... the other guy may NOT have been charged with a crime. Or, perhaps, the guy he fought with decided he had no problems with the guy coming back. Who knows? There could be a hundred possible reasons - none of which may have had anything to do with skin color or ace. Any suit you try to bring will place the burden of proof upon you to show that you were unlawful discriminated against based solely upon your skin color. The mere fact that some other guy was white and the security manager is white is not going to even get you into court.

Perhaps after you make restitution and you let a little time pass, you can go back, write or call and plead very contritely for permission to come back. This is probably preferable to paying an attorney a lot of money just to be allowed back inside the venue.

The answer is, yes ... You CAN have it lifted. But, the issue is not whether it CAN be lifted, but whether or not the venue will allow it to be lifted.

You appear to have no racial claim to force the issue. If all you have is the happenstance of the ethnicity of birth, that is NOT proof of any kind of unlawful discrimination. But, you are certainly free to enrich an attorney to try and get it lifted should you wish.

But, was that guy charged with a crime like you were? And even if he was, maybe he came back and apologized. Who knows? The bottom line is that you have two different situations and no proof of racial bias, only your long shot thought there might be one.

According to the tabloids MANY fans pick a fight with David Beckham. If it was just insults and no violence that is not out of the ordinary.

Oh and you also stated you were banned and THEN were EJECTED from ANOTHER game. Why did you return after you were banned?

I was just going to accept the fact that I was banned but I was then again ejected from another game.

Maybe the other guy appealed his suspension properly and didn't return while under a ban.

Stay away from excessive use of alcohol when you are in a public place where there are children and families.
