What is the name of your state? Arizona
parents share 50/50 visitation. Father is relocating 150 miles away. Father would like to have every other weekend fvisitation contue for two children between age 9-11. Is this a common request that is granted or is once per month more likely?

Depends... Typically the re-locating parent pays at least the majority of transportation costs. If the relocating parent pays all costs or a higher % of costs, it would make sense that the non-relocating parent asks for the highest amount of visitation possible. And finally consideration is the circumstances behind the move & state law (in no particlular order).

This part confuses me. Can you please clarify?

What casa meant was that if the parent moving is the one paying for the additional transportation costs that the move will make them have, then it's not unreasonable for them to be granted every other week. They're footing the bill, and if they want to see the children every other weekend it's on their dime.

Whyte Noise is Right...but a better clarification could be: IF the relocating parent is responsible for transportation costs (ie; parent who moved, pays)...then of course the non-relocating parent (ie; parent who is pissed kids are leaving, but other parent pays for visits) asks for as much visitation as is possible..."Ask for everything & settle for what you get".
