i was married in the state of california. i have been married 3 times. on my marriage certificate i signed that i was married only 2 times. is this illegal? can i be prosecuted and can the marriage be annuled?

My response:

No, that's not a reason for an annulment in California - - or for that matter, probably anywhere.

I wouldn't be concerned. Last time I checked, all funding for the "Marriage License Police" has been cancelled.
