Recieving Spousal Support

I have been married now for just over 1 year. My husband is currently serving overseas and I have accompanied him. Behind my back he had cheated on me with a minor and had filled out almost all the divorce paperwork by himself. I didn't see this coming. I had moved overseas with him 2 years after high school and the job and education opportunities are somewhat limited here so I have been unable to maintain a decent paying job or enroll in college. Am I able to collect spousal support? I at least need something to get me back on my feet, I'm only 20! He makes around 17k per year so I have to be able to get some of that to help me. If I am able to get this support how do I find out for how long..how much..etc? I have really noone to help me here, I can't even make an appt. at the base legal office with out his approval and as you can see he's not too realible. Advise anyone?

Spousal Support

You can go to the JAG office (Walk in) or call for appt. without his knowing. You can also talk to the Commanding Officer Wife. Explain to them he cheated on you with a minor. Since he has seen fit to run with a minor then you can see fit to end/hurt his military life.
You can have the Govt. send you back to the States.

Thanks for the reply. I need all the help I can get at this point. There has already been charges against him that could possibly help me so it looks like I won't have to do much work. Thank you again!
