My son sign a contract with a record company along with his band. The president of the record company invited him down to where he lives in Tennessee to "work" for him with some other investments he has. told him he'd make x amount of dollars. (in two weeks)
The said person at some point during the two weeks got mad at my sons girlfriend, mad her buy 20 albums of someone elses cd, (to make it right with him) then made my son stay down there and extra week. when my son came back, he told me he was given an the choice of the band or his girlfriend, and if he chooses his girlfriend then he'd have to pay $$$$$ to get out of the contract.
