What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

I get a lot of calls from recruiters and today one called me and as usual I politely thanked him for his interest and informed him I was employed full-time and currently not seeking any kind of employement anywhere else. He called me in the middle of work day (he knew that because he was from NJ) and I really don't want my employer to think I am looking to change jobs when i am perfectly happy working where I am.
So I ended the conversation with recruiter and just hung up because he would not take no for an answer. So he called me back and said "I know you just hung up on me but I wanted to speak further about your background and unless you are planning to never work again you will speak to me about your background"

Something along those lines. It sounded awfully like a threat and I got very irritated and repeated that I am not looking for any employment and am at work and very busy at the moment.
Then I found the number of his firm and called them and told them what happened. they told me they will transfer my call to an appropriate person and transfered me back to that recruiter! So I told him that if he won't stop harrasing me and making me look bad at work or threatening me i will take further action.
In the past I had a recruiter call my place of employment and find out my work number from a receptionist and call me there. I had to call his firm with a complaint.
What I need to know is can the recruiter hurt my employment in some way or not, and also what can I do if he will not stop calling or if he tries contacting my managerWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Headhunters (and also Wal-Mart in-house recruiters) do this sort of thing (and worse!) all the time, it's very common and unfortunately, quite legal. There's no point complaining to their managers about this because it's their managers who train them to act this way in the first place.

He didn't actually threaten to do anything to you, he just said some scary words ("youll never work again") hoping they'd intimidate you into applying for one of his job orders. It didn't work and now you're even scareder that he'll follow through on his threat-that-wasn't-really-a-threat.

Relax, don't worry about it, as soon as this sleazeball actually hooks someone he'll forget all about you. Meanwhile, the next time you're chit-chatting with your boss, tell him about how you get all these calls and that they really bug you because you're so happy where you're working now you don't wanna waste even a minute of time telling this to these headhunters yadda yadda this is all so darned annoying...and smile and shake your head ruefully. Then if one of the headhunters does take the extra step and calls your boss, he'll just ignore whatever the headhunter says.
