What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Florida
How long is the redemption period whereby a borrower can buy back his/her property after a mortgage foreclosure sale? Can the borrower buy back the property from either a lender or a third-party bidder? Can a borrower "sell" his/her redemption rights to a third party?

depends on mortgage company

can find redemption info in the paper work from the foreclosing mortgage company. Depending on if the comp is federal or state could affect redemption times.
Determine if foreclosing comp is fed or state. then do research with either the Office of the Comptroller • Department of Banking and Finance • State of Florida www.dbf.state.fl.us/alrt2597.html or CIS of CA (if fed bank.)
Good luck,
