What is the name of your state?OR

We were discharged from chapter 7 at the end of July. We have a Home Equity Line of Credit, that we have had for 2 years. The interest rate was not fixed, and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience of trying to get a fixed interest rate this soon after a discharge?
