The charge was a first offense drunk driving accident which involved another vehicle with a minor occupant. According to Massachusetts state law, any drunk driver that hits another vehicle with a minor occupant automatically serves six months. The judge issued a nine month sentence. The accused had a hearing after serving one month. He was told at that point that he would be released on October 28th, which was the 4 1/2 month mark. The paperwork is currently sitting on a desk at the parole board waiting for the final go-ahead. The paperwork has gone through all the channels and the final phase is the parole board. I've tried calling the board and was told that they do not give out that information. It seems that I cannot get any answers. His attorney hasn't had any luck obtaining the information either. Is there any way in which one, lawyer, family, friend, can obtain this information?

No just sit back and wait. they may not have even made a decision on it yet. The first who will know is the person who is incarcerated....
