I live in Illinois, my husband was divorced in Illinois, has two kids.
What are the guidelines for the amount of child support, or what is the maximum?
Can the ex consider me or my income at all in the future? She is remarried too, so she has additional income.
We want a joint banking acct & will be purchasing a home soon- not sure how to proceed.....

Your income and your husband's ex's new man's income can not be used when determining child support.

Make absolutely sure he doesn't owe back support before you create a joint anything account!
