My wife and I have divorced and the house was in both our names. She removed her name from it without letting me know and left only my name in deed. Is it legally possible?

Yes. She no longer has ownership. If she was on the mortgage however she is still on the mortgage.

No, it is neither legally or physicaly "possible" to remove a person's name from a "deed" - neither as grantor or grantee. Not once the document has been executed and delivered.

However, depending upon the nature of the owneship, it is possible to remove one's name as a record owner of land by conveying that interest to a third party or a person or persons or even to a joint owner or owners. For example your wife could quitclaim to you her interest in the property. But that doesn't appear to be the case here.

Without further explanation from your end this is the most that can be said.

She could have quitclaimed her portion to her ex. Hence, she would not have ownership of the home and her name would not be on the current as an owner. That is how i interpreted his question.
