My Honda 2003 CRV failed to provide coollness due to compressor program according to the Honda Service Department. This vehicle is covered with 100,000 miles or 5 years from date of purchase. The vehicle is now being fix since last Tuesday, July 26,2005. They promised delivery by Thursday. Late in the afternoon of Thursday, I called my Service Advisor who at that day did not worked. I decided then to rent a car in as much as no one from the service department can give me a definite date when the job is going to be done. Monday came and it was promised for Wednesday. Today is Friday and I still no hope of hearing from Honda while I am stucked with my rented car. Honda service section refuses to pay my car rental. Do I have the right to demand payment of the car rental?

Q: Do I have the right to demand payment of the car rental?

A: Yes, but do not expect payment since they are not obligated to furnish you a ride.
