What is the name of your state? Idaho.
We are in a rented home, has gone to foreclosure proceeding although, retained by bank, received letter from attorney offering us $ to vacate and contact RE agent. Immediately submitted loan approval letter to RE Agent to buy the home and tentetively agreed on a price, advised temporary lease would be available while we process loan application, instead attorneys stipulation (not a lease) an attempt to 'sign' us into a law suit, ridiculously high monthly amount, also lease not necessary as we are ready to sign sales contract with down payment closing costs etc.
How can we convince the bank (who owns the home) to stop any further legal avenues and order RE agent to process a sales contract as this would be in the banks best interest (no foreclosure, appraisal, renovation costs) and purchase the home while we continue to reside?
Find a good RE attorney in my area?
thank you.

I don't want to sound negative, but remember, you are a renter. The lender may have other plans for the home. For example, the house might be worth $150,000, yet the debt, including late fees/attorneys fees etc, may be much higher. If the the lender has an insured loan, they may have to turn a vacant property over to the insurerer to put in a claim on their mortgage insurance. That said, keep on calling, writing etc. Be the squeaky wheel, maybe it will pay off. I dont think you would have a legal case to force the bank to sell to you.
