What is the name of your state? Texas

Does TX have any laws that compensate an hourly person who is scheduled for a shift [say, 6 hours], shows up but is sent home early [told to leave after 1 hour] due to slow business? I searched the archives and I think "report pay" is what I am looking for. I searched the TWC (texas workforce site) and they don't mention anything about it but I may be using the wrong term. I am not looking to stick it to the employer but it costs quite a bit of money in gas to get to work only to be sent home a short time later.

Yes, report pay is the correct term and no, Texas does not have such a law.
