You Are Guilty

The dr only walked in told her that the HcG/progesterone levels were in a range where they could safely proceed. He did not examine her, (it was a medical abortion)

The nurse was the only other person in the room, she ignored the fact that the patient was crying and repeating to her boyfriend, "Please don't do this, make them stop."
Unless you are the nurse (or you have the procedure room bugged), how in the world do you plan on proving any of this?

We don't "do" hypotheticals.

Do your OWN "research."

WOW! So this is not a forum to discuss legal issues? One can't come forward with a legitimate inquiry?

Are you saying that YOU would go on a public forum and discuss SPECIFICS of a case?

Again I advocate for the mentally ill, I often run across issues beyond my scope of knowlegde, I was mistakenly directed here.

The nurse is a witness.
Every single person she knows knew that she wanted that baby, including the man.

Numerous text and email messages in which this man tries to coerce the woman's mother, basically holding the power of attorney hostage until he recieved a negative pregnancy and HIV test. (which they did and they still don't have it)

A 5 page legal document he tried to get both she and her mother to sign. In which the woman can't pursue any legal or civil action against him.

Increasingly more frantic, persistent emails, practically begging for silence in return for a promise of $1000 sometime in the indefinite future.

He has admitted culpability (ie admits she was ill and that HE made the choice) in text messages and to the woman in front of witness

My question is:
If there is nothing illegal about this, then why is a very learned attorney so afraid?

And THAT is where I'm calling BS on this. No doc would perform the abortion if the woman was begging him not to...just not gonna happen.

Again the doctor was not present, the abortion was NOT surgical.
The woman begged the boyfriend, not the doctor. (yes this is his word against hers) What she said or did say at this point is irrelevant, because she can't make rational decisions at that point.

Call BS, but it happened. The doctor sensed something was wrong, but only because the boyfriend continued to dominate every office visit, following. This particular medical abortion took over 2 weeks to complete.
