What is the name of your state? Ohio

Okay got unemployment. Then was hired out at a temp possible to hire job. I took it not wanting to be a burden to the system. Was so swamped there didn't really get on the job hunt until january. Now the job has ended, I am restarting my claim from when I applied being let go from my job in 07. I collected a couple weeks pay this march, and then got this:

THIS NOTICE IS A DETERMINATION OF AN ADDITIONAL APPLICATION FOR
UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS, ISSUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
SECTIONS 4141.28(D) & (E), OHIO REVISED CODE
_________________________________________________
An issue regarding the claimant's reason for separation, affecting benefits beginning on 03/05/2008, was
adjudicated as follows. In accordance with Section 4141.29 of the Ohio Revised Code this agency finds
that the claimant is totally unemployed from CREATIVE-ON-CALL INC. due to a lack of work.

ADDITIONAL APPLICATION ? Do I restarted it wrong? I do not want anything extra, just what I was getting before.
It doesn't sound like I'm being denied.
Nothing saying I have to repay what I have gotten so far this month. But its asking me if I want to appeal. And then also the option for this week filing is gone and its asking me to reopen claim. This may have to wait til monday and I will have to call the Unempl Office, but I'm kind of screwed if I don't have this money coming thru, because it doesn't look as if I'm going to find anything any time soon. Anyone who can help and reply before monday. will help me sleep better. Thanks

You applied to have the claim reopened. That's where the word application comes from.

They're behind in the paperwork and this is the acknowlegement that they received your request.

No one is denying or contesting anything. Calm down.

I'm all in favor of writing those things in plain and simple English; but no one pays attention to me!

Thanks for the response CBG.
Its says I have 21 days to appeal though.

If there behind in paperwork and its just an acknowledgement they have the request. Why did I get paid for two weeks from my original claim in 07, and the option to file for this week is gone (3-27 to 4-05)? I have the option to just re-open it again...

Glad to know at this point there not contesting it. So don't apeal? Just call them I guess, thanks to all.

Where does it say you have to appeal? There's nothing in what you posted that says that. Are you sure you're not reading what they told the employer?

But its asking me if I want to appeal. And then also the option for this week filing is gone and its asking me to reopen claim.

What I pasted wasn't the whole pdf but when I clicked to get to Determination Correspondce. The web page said this

"View Your Determination
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To view your determination, click the "View Printable Version" button below.
If you disagree with this determination, you may file an appeal on this website. Click the "File Appeal" button below and complete the screens.
If you have questions regarding your appeal rights, you may contact your processing center."

And then if I want to I can file it online.

The pdf has a paragraph that says my appeal rights:
If you do not agree with this determination, you may file an appeal by mail or fax to the ODJFS Claims Processing Center shown above. You may also file an appeal online at
https://unemployment.ohio.gov. The appeal should include the determination ID number, name, claimant's ECT
To be timely, your appeal must be received/postmarked no later than 04/25/2008.
(21 calendar days after the 'Date Issued'). If the 21st day falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, your deadline has already been extended to include the next scheduled work day. ECT

These could be default legal text that appears as part of template in the web page and the pdf. But I never got anotice like this before when I got approved. The Correspondence Type is called "UI ADDITIONAL". I don't know if this means anything.
Also if this is what the employers reading why does it say I need to take action by 4/25/08? Maybe thats for them, but when I was approved last time I didn't get a notice that said Determination on it. This whole thing is confusing... Thanks again in advance

All right. If it bothers you that much, call them on Monday and see what they tell you. Probably wouldn't hurt just to confirm. :)
