Hello
A friend of mine split up with his girlfriend around 2 months ago. She placed his personal belongings in her storeage shed- some items were put there before the break up and some after. She has denied him any access and has refused to return his property. She then applied for a restraining order. They went to court and he told the judge he needed his stuff- she even has his State ID and birth certificates. He had a list of items and the judge asked her individually if she was in possession of the property. She said she had very little left. Among his property was his tools he is an ironworker by trade- she says she no longer has them. The judge ordered her to return whatever she does have in 48 hours. Is there any action he can take against her for the missing property? thank you for your time.
