What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? WA

Hello, I am looking into changing a word in an existing Trademark. I wanted to see ask if anyone had insight to do this easily without resubmitting a Trademark application, and what might be the course of action?

For example, if my registered slogan were "Drink to be merry" and i wanted to change a word so it ready "Drink and be merry".

This also leads to me ask, would a competitor be able to register a logan like the latter so similar to my registered slogan? It seems perhaps that it might be questionable as the meaning shifts slightly.

Can there be variations on wording of a slogan or addendum added to an existing registered trademark?

Thanks for any insight.
