What is the name of your state? Missouri
My daughter recently went to a local car lot looking to buy a car. The man ran her credit and distributed it to three or four companies. Two of these were banks from which she received letters. One of the others was a secondary lender that approved her for a loan. However, she did not want any of the cars the man had on the lot. He was trying to force her to buy a car that she didn't want and wasn't worth the money. She has asked a couple of times to find the name of the secondary lender that approved her to see if she could buy a car elsewhere. He refuses to give her the name of the company. Doesn't she have a right to know who reviewed her credit application and who approved her? Thanks.
