I appendix a in Minnesota it states that each party has to inform the other of change of address within ten days. Is ex won't tell him.

My husband wants to find out what shelter his ex and their son is at. Is he able to call the shelters in our areas and get that info? What exactly should he say?(If he is able to) Thanks in advance for any advice.

It may depend on what type of shelter she's in. If she's in a homeless shelter he can try to call, but I suspect that they won't be willing to give that info over the phone. He can try visting each shelter to see if she's there.

If she's in a domestic violence shelter he definately won't be able to get any info or even be able to visit the shelter himself.

If it's written into the court order that she should inform him of new address within 10 days, and she hasn't done so, she his in contempt of the CO, and he may need to file a contempt motion.
