Question: the rules and regulations committee as well as the board of directors are turning over every rock to "nail" certain owners with violations. If other homeowners break these rules, it goes unnoticed and doesnt warrant an imposed fine. However, certain homeowners break the rule once, they are hit with a violation, hearing and possible fine. Is this fair? Can the rules committee and the board of directors target certain homeowners for violations and ignore the rest of the homeowners that violate the same rules?

I always understood that rules are to be objective not subjective. In our community, its who you know and who is out to get you. Is there any recourse we can take to stop this from occuring over and over again?

Lastly, there are no rules governing behaviors of guest. If the root cause is guest behavior, how can the elite 10, as i call them, fine a homeowner for guest not signing in? I fail to see the relationship. I know I am responsible for my guests but to what point?
