What is the name of your state?Illinois
the condo approved new rules and regulations that required that unit owners that lease their garage spaces(seperate deeded units) must lease to unit owners in the building. This severely restricts the ability if you have 2 spaces and can only use one space now -and therefore need to rent the other space out. Seems to be illegal to require you to lease to a certain group.
Can you advise section of the law that would have relevancy here please.
thanks

The owners can make any rules that they want to apply to THEIR property. And yes, the owners ARE represented by their elected board.
