Salary and compensation for travel

I work for a small company that operates a ship. As such, there are times I have to travel to and from the ship. When I travel, I have to use my own funds (putting on hold payment of some bills I have) until I return. At that time they will re-imburse me the money I spent. I do not have, and they will not provide a company credit card to assist in this. However, this is only a side note.. The main question is that I am salaried, yet when I go to the ship, I will spend anywhere from 10-15 hours a day on the ship. Last month (May), I was away from home and on the ship 4 weekends out of 5. I thought that there was a law that stated something to the effect that even salaried personnel deserve extra compensation for travel and time put in when on the road. There have been weeks that I have put in 65-70 hours. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I do not have, and they will not provide a company credit card to assist in this. There is no requirement whatsoever that an employer provide any employee with a company credit card. Many employers do not.

There have been weeks that I have put in 65-70 hours. There is no legal requirement that an exempt employee ever receive anything beyond their regular salary - no matter how many hours they work.

If you don't care for the terms of your employment, then your recourse is to find a new position with conditions more to your liking.
