I have given over a 3 month notice to leave my position. I have left under awesome terms. My position was an Administrative Assistant. I gave enough notice so that I could train the next person for my position. The new person was hired as an Executive Assistant making $600 more a month than me, not to mention the new person is salary paid. I was hourly paid and topped out at $14.43 an hour. I had worked my position for a little over two years. I have never called in sick, I have 4 perfect attendance awards, and I did my job extremely well. I need to know if there is anything I can do legally, since I was mislead into believing I could not make anymore money and the position I worked could not be an Executive position because my employer was not an executive. Any advice would greatly appreciated.
