I received a school bus violation because (it was reported) that I failed to yeild to a school bus. But the day they said this happened I do not recall seeing a bus stopped. I did see one the day after said violation occured, but I fully stopped for it and executed what I felt was proper procedure. So, long story short. I had to be issued a citation for over $200 and four points off my liscence. I think I want to go to court because of the decrepancy in date. The wrong dates were also written on my citation. I am not sure how to go about it though, in terms of should I plead no contest or not guilty? It seems to me that no contest is the simpler way to go. A plea of not guilty will pit me against the bus driver and due to their credability which has already been established, I feel like I won't stand a chance. No contest on the other hand could reduce my fine or points. My second question is...is a speeding ticket considered having a bad driving record?
