What is the name of your state?Oregon.
On Aug 2 I gave my 30 day notice in writting to move. On Aug. 15th my managers new associate called to set an appointment to bring a person to my property to look at it, okay. That day I arived at my place, I was in the processes of moving. A women shpwed up sasid she had an appoi. since the assoc. didnt shw up I showered her my place, then 3 other people showed, thery were getting in my way of moving . I called the maagers secetary she had the manager show. Then there was another person to show. Anyway manager showed looked around the house then asked if he could show it again, so I gave him 1 key to my house but not for both locks and told him I have 2 weeks left on my rental agreement and when I was out completly I would return all the keys. Well I showed up at my house the following weekend and cleaned it inside and out it was spotless. Then I should up for one l;ast time on the 23rd of Aug. and there 3was painters there and a carpenter at my house, no one called me to ask permission for this. The kid there which is the manager son said this was the cleanest place that he has ever seen and that the paint on the walls were great considering I lived there for 7 1/2 years. I painjted them 6 moths before. The lady painter that was there said Im painting them anyway, whatever. Sio I wait fir my refundable cleaning deposit anhd receive it on the 30th day, but t my surprise I only get 164.00 out of 575.00 with a letter with all these damages, charges for thing that were not even there when AI moved in, and a cleaning charge of 410.00 which was all bogus lies. I think that he went into my place without my permission before I cleaned it then called the company to clean it and when they showed up seen that it was all cleaned, but charged my anyway. In Oregon you can sue the management for entering your place if they do not send you a 48 hour notice. plus he was showing it while I was there and cleaniing and painting without my permission. I am thinking about writing the manager a letter and if he does not give me my deposit back then I will take him to court. Over the years I have put over 2,500 into this place of my own money and kept this house in great shape dinhg most of the repairs my self with the managers permission, so this is crap. Any thoughts. I spoke to the manager already and he will not say when he inspected my house.
