What is the name of your state? FL

There are pages of bankruptcy lawyers listed in the Yellow Pages. I am sure many of the lesser qualified ones have their sales pitch down pat, so a one-on-one meeting may not be a sure way of determining how effective they might be. What is the best way to select a good one?

chilbill,

From personal experience, be sure he will give you help if necessary AFTER the BK is discharged.

I'm currently haveing problems with my accounts on credit reports being reported correctly, and my lawyer has been pretty useless.

Also be sure you get a copy of the BK after discharge.
