What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

I have a question about selling Jarts and items containing lead at my garage sale. I heard Jarts were illegal to sell (and to even have them in your possession). I also have a tin of pellets for pellet guns and solder for a soldering iron. A person that stopped at my sale told me that I couldn't sell the pellets or the solder because they contained lead. I'd like some guidance about these items. Thanks.

I can still buy lead pellets and solder at my favorite retailers. No reason it's not legal to sell at your sale.

I see nothing on what you are selling, may be the one who stopped at your garage sale do the same and he wants to lessen his competitors:D But the pellet gun I think is not a good idea but its not what he is complaining right? so don't worry about him just ignore him.
