Selling questionable items at a garage sale

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

I have a question about selling Jarts and items containing lead at my garage sale. I heard Jarts were illegal to sell (and to even have them in your possession). I also have a tin of pellets for pellet guns and solder for a soldering iron. A person that stopped at my sale told me that I couldn't sell the pellets or the solder because they contained lead. I'd like some guidance about these items. Thanks.

I can still buy lead pellets and solder at my favorite retailers. No reason it's not legal to sell at your sale.

I see nothing on what you are selling, may be the one who stopped at your garage sale do the same and he wants to lessen his competitors But the pellet gun I think is not a good idea but its not what he is complaining right? so don't worry about him just ignore him.
