i live in penna. does a husband who has been not living here for months have the right to enter my home and remove whatever he wants without my knowledge? we havent been married for even 9 months and hes been gone more than he was here. im furious that someone was in here going through my drawers and removing things when i wasnt even aware of it,is this legal? do i just have to wonder when he will do it again? he has things of mine he wont return.

My response:

Why are you blaming him ? As long as he has a key, you've left your house open as an "attractive nuisance" to him. It's like having a "kid in a candy store". He's your husband - - that's the fact and, as such, he has every right to come into the house.

Now, if you want to take your security and privacy back, do one or both of the following:

1. Change the locks.

2. File for divorce.

Good luck to you.
