My ex-mechanic took my money $350 and never rendered services/parts. It has been more than 2-years, and has not paid me back, just a bunch of lies and run around. I only have this individual's work address.

I filed a Warrant in Debt with FFX Co, VA Small Claims Division. The VA Sheriff went out twice, but could not locate the individual. I may be able to lure my ex-mechanic out and serve them myself. Is it too late to do so? Is the case closed cause the Sheriff could not find them? I am not sure what to do.
