We just won our case in federal court the damage award was nominal and the emotional damages were quite low. The lawyers fees are going to be quite substantial, and we are assuming the front pay will be low. The defendants are wanting to settle this now. Is this a good thing for us?

My response:

How would any of us know? We have no idea what your case is about, the damages involved, and the judgment rendered.

And, even if we did know, it really doesn't matter anyway because you have an attorney who is supposed to be advising you.
