i have a settlement conference coming up (me=pro per). the notice says i need to send a maximum 5 page settlement statement 5 days ahead to the judge pro tempore (a lawyer overseeing the event). i have looked various places and can not find 1. is there a specific format needed beyond writing on pleading paper like a brief 2. are there specific catagories or topics to include.
i assume (but am not sure) they want:
1. a legal analysis of the issues of liability and negligence, with legal arguements and case citations.
2. a synopsis of what my version of what happened is.
3. dollar totals for damages past and future claimed (medical, wages, etc.)
4. a settlement figure i would settle for
if anyone knows what is needed or where i can find the information i would appreciate it.
