our father died due to the neglegence of the hospital in pennsylvania. we settled the case in court. He has four surviving adult children whom were not dependant on him financially. he also had a wife to whom he was married less than 10 years. She also was not dependant on him. They each paid their own bills. They also had an antenuptual, which basically says she has no right to anything if they were to part. in his will he left everything to his children except his pension and car. His wife seems to think she is allowed by law to receive 80% of the settlement. Can this be true?
