What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

My husband was given 21 days to consider a severance package. Does the day he was given the contract count in the 21 days? It's important that we know for sure.

Thanks!

IF this is an early retirement ncentive and he is being asked to,sign a waiver of his right to sue there is,something in the Federal law about they must give him 21 days to decide if they want the waiver safe harbour ..it's a bit more complex as to,all that must be provided for an informed decision and in all that I am NOT sure how to count days but am surprised that the decision date is not clearly spelled outn**************

That's why I didn't think of that. I've seen a few of them and they all had the day that date of the decision day on them pretty clearly.
